Howdy everyone!
Hope you all are doing really well!
Like every other day, I am back with another really interesting and informative blog that I am sure you shouldn’t missed out on!
Today’s blog will be really worth-it I can promise you that!
Do you guys know that only 5% percent of the sea has been explored by the human being! Yes only 5 percent!
Today I will tell you guys about three really interesting species that I believe will be able to hold your attention!
Shall we start now!
Our First guest
The Nudibranch
Nudibranch are soft gastropod which are mostly found on deep seas which usually drops their shell after their larval stage is over. What is really special about Nudibranch is that they can regenerate their rhinophores, branchial plumage and fragment of their body.
They are compared with a Gecko who can also generate their tails after detached. How cool is that? There are also lot’s of cool facts while considering Nudibranch!
Excited enough?
Well Nudibranch parent’s usually lays eggs.
What I meant is both the parent’s usually lays eggs. This is one of the most fascinating factor about Nudibranch. Also they have really cool vibrant color which can sometimes offer warning to the predator. I mean the more vibrant color a species have, the more warning and danger it can produce at it’s own!
This unique species have tentacles from which they pick up smell. Also from that smell they can communicate with their other members.
That’s right they communicate with their smell! I find them really cool on occasions such that some of them don’t even eats!
Second one
The Brain Coral
This is a really interesting species found in the deep down sea! This brain coral is often considered as the foundation of the all other corals in general. This species is called to be lived for around 900 years which at first when I listened, blew my mind away!
It’s a hard substance in general. Brain corals have a shape of brains , sort of like cerebrum which is why it is called the brain of the sea. Animals living between this rocky structure are not that much of a difficult in nature. It can be jellyfish or it can be small invertebrate. This coral is structured with a hard calcium carbonate or limestone which makes it really hard solid as ever.
Really important thing for the environment and ecosystem for the sea!
And lastly the third One
The Nautilus Belaunensis
This scavengers living in the deep sea are mostly opportunistic predators. This creature has it’s unique blood circulation system. The blood of the nautilus contains hemocyanin, which get’s blue when it is at it’s oxygenated state! They have tentacles from which they catch their pray.
Usually this alien alike thing looks like it is out of the planet. This unique species when born have around like 5 compartments inside their shell and as they grow older, they have around like 30 individual compartments inside their shell which is really fascinating!
The outer shell body mostly holds the meaty squishy body and the inner shell usually contains a nitrogen gas mixture and a liquid solution.
This ancient creature is considered to be living from the time of the dinosaur’s!
They have a beautiful red or orange coloration stripes over their shell which is white. Also they can grow up-to 10 inch’s in considering their shell having around 90 tentacles in total in their body structure! Interesting factor here is that their tentacles do not have suction cups like the octopus have.
This ancient species usually eats other fishes or dead animals and sometimes crustaceans.
Really cool species right?
Hopefully I will meet you guys with a new topic tomorrow!
Till then stay safe and keep your loving pet’s safe!
