Aquarium Sharks in my eyes!

Howdy!

Hope you are all doing well. Today I am back with another interesting topic like every other day!

Our today’s topic you all might have known it by now is about Aquarium sharks!

Wooh my friend don’t be scared! I know what comes into your mind when it comes for the topic of sharks! The mighty dangerous tiger sharks with extremely sharp teeth’s that roams around the ocean or the great reef shark that have a really good smelling instinct of fresh blood! Really dangerous fish and are seen in bigger public aquariums!

Really big fish needs really big space for swimming!  But our today’s topic is not about this type of sharks. I know you might ask what else to we get as a shark! Well in this modern era there are modern technologies available. People using modern products are getting more outcome than the previous ones! One of the modern refined product is an aquarium. Even 10 years back there were not much options available for aquariums but in recent times, there are so much possible ways of making your aquarium as natural as possible. Like looking at it will make you feel as same as and part of the nature taken out from there and kept inside your house!

Fascinating right!

Well let’s just straight dive into the main topic! Let me introduce you to our todays guest the bamboo shark!

You might have heard about this category of shark which is often commonly seen in home aquariums. I have seen bamboo sharks from a really close eyes starting from their eggs. Bamboo sharks eggs are really interesting type of eggs which are not similar to any other kinds of species of eggs!

Like when you think about eggs, what comes inside your head? I believe that oval shape or round shape kind of eggs right?

But surprisingly shark eggs are really different in shape! They are long and feels like something has squished it to a limit where it became quite flat! But observing with light, you can see the baby shark forming inside the egg. I love shark eggs because they are so unique in shape. You will also see them in public aquariums.

Bamboo sharks

got their names by the pattern of color they got from their body. Their body has a color combination of dark brown and peanut color!  There are dark brown stripes over their peanut colored body makes them look really attractive. There is another category named white spotted bamboo sharks which has an extra white spot added to their body. They are usually night crawlers which means they are often seen out in the times of darkness and the also live in the bottom area of the tank. One question arise in terms of sharks is that if they are harmful for the fish keeper or not?

Well as far as I have seen, this species of shark is not harmful for human being. They don’t offer any kinds of threat for the humans which often makes them a safe option as pets. Being a shark lover or making an attraction point for your kids can bring you towards petting a white spotted bamboo shark!

When it’s the time of the babies hatching, I have seen people cutting the shark eggs with a knife so that the baby could get out. Usually this type of shark grows near about 1 miters which is not quite big and this makes them a good option for the fish keepers!

My personal suggestion will be

going for bamboo sharks for your aquarium as the way they swims around will make them the center attraction point of aquarium!

Okay a lot about the bamboo sharks! Is there any more options for sharks in aquarium?

Well there are aquarium sharks which comes in black and albino color. I personally had the black ones as they look quite similar to the original sharks! I mean the albino ones are really pretty also but black ones looks more alike the real sharks.

They are not that much of an expensive type fish but really active inside aquariums. Sometimes I have seen them jumping out of waters. They don’t get that much of a bigger in size and in adulthood they also doesn’t grows that much of a large in size!

Keeping a shark

I believe will not be that much of a difficult. Usually keeping a shark which will grow quite big will require atleast a 100 gallon tank for their proper swimming area. It is highly recommended to get a tank which has a capacity of 100 gallon or more! Secondly , I will recommend to have a tank with white sand. I believe it will look nicer and will go good with the contrast of the fish. Also it will add a natural look for your tank which is often the main concern while keeping a shark tank. Like people love keeping this exotic fish in their tanks mostly for creating a natural landscape for their tank!

One of the most important factor while keeping a bamboo shark will indicate you to have more and more hiding space for your shark. Lie as you know they are nocturnal animal, they love to hide themselves. Having some reef rocks as hiding space will be good!

I am damn sure that sharks are favorite to you like they are to me. I like the way that they are so active and playful when it comes to regular aquarium sharks. Also I have seen people keeping actual saltwater ocean sharks in their home aquariums!

But personally I don’t support that as some things looks more beautiful in nature than they are in tanks right? But this is only my opinion! This can change up to person to person!

Okay my friend! Will see you in my next blog in a new and fresh day! Till than, stay safe and keep your loving pets safe!
