Saltwater Angelfish- So much to know about!

Like every other day, I am back with a really good topic!

As you guys already know, there are various angelfish varieties in this universe, I will talk about the most colorful angelfish option available!

Starting with,

Regal Angelfish

This saltwater beautiful fish comes from the marine ray-finned fish family which have such a tremendous color! This cool angelfish usually are found on Indian-pacific region and in the wild they can grow up-to 10 centimeter. Keeping in aquariums they will atleast be requiring 100 gallon tank for an adult.

Due to their shy nature, they will need a lot of hiding space in general to live in. This saltwater marine fish living in corals mainly eats sponges and sea squirts. Usually the adults are really active!

Yellowbar Angelfish

Meet this really cool angelfish. It a saltwater fish which is also known by Yellowbar Angelfish. This Yellowbar Angelfish is a really cool species which is mostly found in Red Sea, Persian gulf and Gulf Oman.

This fish are mostly found in between 13 to 164 feet depth of the water. This fish has one similar fact with the emperor angelfish. They both have different color and unique pattern over their body when they are at juvenile state.  Cool right?

Queen Angelfish

Okay let’s introduce you guys with the Queen of our today’s blog! The Queen Angelfish!

This beautiful species is usually found in western Atlantic ocean. It is a warm water species which usually  loves to live under reef areas. It can grow up-to 16 to 18 inch’s when optimal condition is given. This fish can live up-to 15 years when the optimal condition is provided!

Such a cool fish with so much color variations. They have usually a bluish body with yellowish tint over their scales. They have a dark blue spot over their head which makes them really different from other fishes and what is interesting is that this spot represents their crown that’s why they are called the Queen Angelfish!

Treespot Angelfish

This angelfish has one of the most unique coloration which refers to a really bright yellow body and whitish tail near the lower belly. And what I found most interesting that this fish has a blue mouth. Imagine that the fishes whole body is yellow and only the mouth is blue!

How cool is that!

This fish is a carnivorous category fish which usually lives in small groups or solo. Usually they stay active mostly in the day time. Which makes this yellow coloration more attractive!

Blueline Angelfish

By the name of them it is quite confirm that this angelfish has blue lines all over it’s body. There are blue line alike body which usually takes place horizontally till the tail ends. The tail is usually bright yellow color. It has some yellowish tint over it’s head which makes it look more attractive! This fish can maximum grow up-to 8 inch’s long and this fish are really reef safe. 

Recommendation will be to keep them in an acclimation box before introducing them to new fishes!

It’s always good to play it safe right!

The French Angelfish

The French angelfish is a colorful angelfish coming out of  western Atlantic Ocean. This angelfish is unique and colorful because of  it’s yellowish scales color. Basicially from the outside what feels like it has the yellowish color on the inside part of the scales.

They eye is rounded with a blue stripes also. This angelfish don’t have the eye catchy coloration but what makes them cool is their appearance!

This angelfish might become really big. Up-to 24 inch’s on record. Really big for an angelfish right? They can live up-to 10. Usually this fish are really aggressive towards other members.

This fact about angelfish is really fascinating that this fish has a different coloration over their body. They also have yellow stripes and black body color when they are juvenile!
